A Shock

So, I'm not going to say much right now, but I just found out that a close friend of mine will be in jail for a really long time. You think you know someone, and then... It's like getting punched in the gut. All the wind is knocked out of you, you feel shaky, dizzy, and somewhat disoriented. I also feel kinda lost and fuzzy (but not in a good way, and I can't shave it off).

So, I haven't written in a while. Again. Oh well. It's not like anyone reads this. It's practically private.

Leo told me I could get a cat or kitten (finally!) so I've been looking for one. I've found some on Craigslist that are really cute, but I'd rather meet them before choosing. You gotta know which one will fit for the rest of your lives, you know? I'd LIKE to get one from the pound, but that's a lot more expensive, and we don't have transportation.
